I'm writing tonight with a heart full of gratitude. I'm so grateful to my family and dear friends who have constantly supported me and my mission to create a world overflowing with BOLD girls who have courage, confidence and conviction who celebrate each other.
On Saturday we co-hosted our 1st fundraiser for BOLD with a wonderful nonprofit, WeAre, also working to empower and educate our youth. We had a great turnout, delicious Booyah to eat, a fabulous bluegrass band who got everyone moving, and plenty of local beer to taste and hot apple cider to keep us warm. The absolute best part of the day was having 6 of the "Original 13" BOLD campers return with their families. The bonds and love they have for each other is exactly what BOLD is all about. Our goal is to help young women learn to love themselves and have love and compassion for others. I want to thank from the bottom of my heart, WeAre, MN Hockey Camps, Chef Brian, my family and friends, WeAre and BOLD volunteers and EVERYONE who came and gave for our fundraiser. Booyah, Beer & Bluegrass just might become an annual event!! It was really that fun!
