I have been thinking of you all and how you are dealing with so many difficult things right now. I’m so incredibly disappointed that we could not have camps this summer but everyone’s health and safety is so important. I think this summer is such an important time to create a way for our girls to reconnect, share their feelings openly with their peers and BOLD leaders, and affirm and empower them as young women.

I think I have found a way to do it! I’m going to be offering 4 virtual zoom meetings for a small fee on a weekly basis beginning the month of July. If things go well, I may extend them into August and beyond. We shall see.

The girls will be placed in either a middle school or high school zoom group. The zoom calls will last a couple of hours each week. I will be using BOLD Inc. curriculum in order to spark discussion and individual reflection for the girls. I will also be interviewing BOLD women who want to share their experiences and empower the girls. Just like camp, we will be focusing on building courage, confidence and conviction within each girl and teaching the girls to celebrate each other in order to create a supportive tribe of young women!
